Every template includes fully editable Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF versions. You can type directly into the Word file, save your changes, and export to PDF when you’re ready to send it to a lender, investor, or advisor.
Our templates follow an SBA-aligned business plan structure and are designed to be lender-friendly. While no third party (including the SBA) “pre-approves” plans, our layouts, sections, and financials are built to match what U.S. banks, SBA lenders, and many investors expect to see.
BPlanMaker currently offers 370+ industry-specific business plan templates, from restaurants and retail to services, trades, medical, pet care, seasonal businesses, and more. Each template is designed with that industry’s language, revenue drivers, and cost structure in mind.
Each template includes professionally written, customizable content plus a complete 3-year financial model. You simply update the sections with your specific details (location, pricing, staffing, timeline, etc.) so the plan reflects your actual business.
Yes. Every template includes a 3-year financial forecast with editable assumptions. This typically covers:
Absolutely. The financials are built to be fully customizable. You can adjust pricing, sales volume, payroll, rent, marketing spend, and more so the forecast accurately reflects your business and the amount of capital you’re requesting.
While each lender has their own preferences, BPlanMaker financials are structured in a way that most bankers, SBA lenders, and CPAs find easy to review. If your advisor requests tweaks, you can update the assumptions and print or export a new version quickly.
Access is instant. After checkout, you’ll see download links on the confirmation page, and you’ll also receive an email with your files so you can re-download them any time.
You can edit the plan in Microsoft Word or any compatible word processor that opens .docx files. Many customers use Word, Google Docs (by uploading the file), or similar editors. The PDF version is great for viewing and sharing, but the Word file is where you’ll make your changes.
You’re welcome to use your purchased template for your own business and closely related ventures you personally own. Reselling, sharing, or redistributing the template files to others is not permitted.
Yes. Because the files are fully editable, you can update fonts, colors, logos, headings, and layout to match your personal or company brand, while still keeping the lender-ready structure intact.
Our customers include:
Yes. Once customized with your real numbers and details, your plan is suitable to present to banks, SBA lenders, local loan programs, investors, and potential partners who ask for a professional written business plan.

Payments are processed securely through our online store using major credit and debit cards (and any additional options shown at checkout). We never see or store your full card details on our own servers.
Because our templates are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are considered final. Once files are downloaded, they cannot be “returned.” That said, if you ever download the wrong template by mistake, reach out to support and we’ll review options with you.
No problem. Just contact us with your order information and we’ll resend your download links or help you regain access to your files.
You can reach us any time through our Contact Us page. Share a few details about your business and what you’re trying to accomplish, and a member of our U.S. support team will respond as soon as possible.
